Item Special Note
She is a self-taught artist. She seeks to capture and share her view of experiences, people, places, and moods and likes to paint images that spark an emotion using movement of lines and color. Her favorite medium is acrylic on canvas, alternating through a mix of styles. Going back to her earliest memories, she held an interest in drawing and painting. She recently discovered a photo taken by her mom when she was age two, wearing a Santa-hat and holding a paintbrush. She lived in multiple states growing up and holds a B.A from Baylor University and an M.B.A. from Texas Christian University. She spent nearly 30 years focused on her career as an executive in financial services. Having left her corporate career, she has picked up a paintbrush once again; her passion reignited. Her other interests include travel, exploring St. Petersburg with her boxer, Pablo, and staying physically active through swimming, yoga, and personal training. Her paintings are available through her website, Artworks byAMR.com. Some of her work has also been converted into digital high-resolution NFTs (non-fungible tokens) for collectors. She thanks God for her gift of expression and the opportunity to share it. She hopes some of her paintings bring you inspiration, entertainment, and a smile.
