We love Ms. Gittins, our school counselor! She has been an asset to our school community, providing social emotional support to all our K-8 students. She has started programs at school to help meet our children's needs, is open to communication, and has a wealth of knowledge to share.
Our auction's purpose is to fundraise to cover the cost of Ms. Gittin's so we can have her full time AGAIN next year! Otherwise, LAUSD only has enough funding for 2.5 days a week.
