Item Description

Jericho Canyon is a rugged area at the foothills of St. Helena in the northeast end of the Napa Valley, and it produces wine that reflects the power and intensity of its hillside origins. This beautiful wooden box contains a sampler of hard-to-find wines from Jericho Canyon Vineyard.   Jericho Canyon Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2006: The wine bursts with fruit expressions of plum, blackberry, and blueberry liqueur. The floral and spice notes are equally impressive, showing cinnamon stick and nutmeg, which blend beautifully with its fresh violet aroma. A silky entry gives way to a plush and full mouthfeel. With its ripe, integrated tannins, the wine maintains a presence on the palate even after its supple finish.   Jericho Creek Block Cabernet Sauvignon 2006: This Cabernet Sauvignon fills the glass with ripe black fruit accented with notes of espresso and licorice. The wine's aroma carries through to a deep and satisfying palate. With a nice balance of fresh fruit, depth, concentration, and tannins, this Cabernet is enjoyable now and will also benefit from cellaring.   Jericho Canyon Vineyard 2008 Sauvignon Blanc: This wine has appealing aromas of honeydew melon, kiwi, pineapple juice, and a charming minerality.   Don Vincenzo Merlot 2006: Bursting with black cherries, currants, and blackberries, this art series bottling is a fun and satisfying blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. It is perfect for a picnic, an evening by the campfire, or a long night in front of the computer. This Merlot is sure to be a pleaser.   JCV wines are consistently rated in the 90s by Wine Spectator reviewers. Learn more at http://jerichocanyonvineyard.com/ .
