Item Description
Two bottles of the 2006 Shiraz Blue-Eyed Boy, which is predominantly Padthaway fruit. Purple-colored, it has an intense aromatic display of smoke, violets, mulberry, blueberry, and chocolate. This leads to a full-bodied, plush, wine with layers of ripe, spicy black fruits, excellent focus and delineation. The tannins are well-concealed but this wine has enough stuffing to evolve for 6 to 8 years. Drink it through 2025. Shake the bottles before drinking. . . It's an Australian thing. How Does The Mollydooker Shake Work? ?We use the inert gas Nitrogen to protect our wines in the bottle. If you think of a wine's flavour profile as being like a big round ball, the nitrogen flattens the back end of the round ball. The Mollydooker Shake releases the nitrogen gas and the flavour profile pops out to its full size again. www. Mollydockerwines.com.au . WA 96.
