Item Description
Crewel embroidery is a fabric embellishment technique which attaches wool thread (called crewel) to fabric using traditional embroidery stitches in order to create a raised surface design. This antique crewel wall hanging measures 15.5" in length, by an 11.5" width. Dated 1964.
