Item Description
Speedy and sure-handed, Kevin Curtis was added during the 2007 offseason and made an immediate impact with the Eagles, having a career year. Curtis was a third-round draft choice of the Rams in 2003 and worked with one of the most explosive receiving tandems in NFL history - Isaac Bruce and Torry Holt.
- Set career highs in receptions (77), receiving yards (1,110) and TDs (8) in 2007
- With 77 receptions in 2007, he became just the 4th wide receiver in Eagles history to record 75-or-more catches in a single season, joining Irving Fryar (88 in 1996, 86 in 1997), Fred Barnett (78 in 1994), and Terrell Owens (77 in 2004). His 77 receptions rank tied for 7th on the Eagles all-time single-season list
- Was one of three Eagles to post over 750 receiving yds. and 60 rec. in a season (Westbrook: 90-771; Curtis: 77-1,110; Brown: 61-780) in 2007, which was a first for the franchise
- Became the first player in NFL history to recover his own team's fumble for a TD in back-to-back games when he fell on Reggie Brown's fumble in the 3rd qtr. vs. Buf. (12/30/07). He recovered a McNabb fumble for a score a week earlier at NO (12/23/07)
- Became the 2nd player in NFL history to have two back-to-back 100-yd. receiving games in the playoffs before ever recording one in the regular season. Pittsburgh's Ernie Mills was the other.
