Item Description
Sally Puff Courtney’s property on North Pine Street offers one of the loveliest settings in town, with over 6,000 square feet of lush lawns and gardens, towering pines, and gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains including a perfectly framed shot of Ajax Mountain. Sally is well known for the countless summer soirees that she has graciously hosted over the years and now it’s your chance to host a spectacular outdoor party too!
Built in the late 1800’s and occupied by Telluride’s first postmaster, Alta Cassietto, the home had the most beautiful garden in town. Originally planted and cared for by Alta and her Mother, the garden was mistakenly destroyed in Sally’s 1996 remodel and it has taken her all these years to bring it back to its original splendor. In the process Sally added a fire pit, water feature, outdoor lighting, sound system, and a sunken hot tub. Tonight’s chefs, Kenny Gilbert and Jake Linzinmeir, will prepare a fabulous dinner for you and 11 of your closest friends to be served under one of the two towering Pine trees in the yard. Sally has also graciously donated a six-liter bottle of 2005 Black Zeppelin, Paso Robles to accompany your dinner. This is truly the perfect outdoor setting for your Garden Party!
About the special bottle of 2005 Black Zeppelin
This flagship wine at Red Zeppelin Winery has won seven gold medals in competition, and was rated 94 points by the California State Fair, as well as Best Blended Red Wine, Central Coast. Only 515 cases were bottled.
