Item Description
The Phoenix Rising Out of Fire, carved by Maine artist Ben Thompson, is an expression of the experience that cancer survivors feel as they finish treatment, get through a particularly hard time, or as they get to cure or remission. This piece is carved out of a cherry trunk with a Phoenix made of maple, walnut, and mahogany. Glossy varnish finish enhances the effect of the flames. Measures 19" height x 9" width x 8" depth.
