Item Description
Denver artist Debbie Brady's art exploration of different mediums has left her with a love of Encaustic painting -- a constant learning process of application of the wax and the permutations it takes on with the slightest change in the colors, heat variables and textures. Her mask, P.S. " Plastic Surgery," embodies the final appearance and the steps working with the wax that lead to it. "I found I wanted to continue to make changes even after I completed the mask," she said. "Not unlike some plastic surgery patients who once start with procedures - continue to add, take away and altar their appearance."
