Artists
Item Description
Dianne Andrejasich-Rees is a visual art teacher at T.R. Paul Academy of Arts and Knowledge in Fort Collins, Colo., where she says her amazingly talented children inspire her creativity. As a portrait artist fascinated with faces, Dianne's mask represents the contrast of life's experiences and simple moments - the dull and exuberant moments we experience. The optimism of Rococo ornamentation as well as the comfort of her grandmother's curtains inspired the plaster relief. "They are interconnecting thoughts, feelings, imagination and fantasies as part of life's reality and our inspirations," she says.
