Item Description
Dina Martin is a Malaysian-born artist who has lived in Colorado for 12 years. Self-taught in portrait pencil drawing, she experiments in other mediums such as oils and acrylics. Her detailed works are in private collections in Malaysia, Dubai, Singapore, Ireland and the U.S. Her mask, Face of the World, is a portrait of a young person facing realities of the world. Happiness and sorrow are represented by the light and shadow on the face. She drew the portrait free-hand using a mechanical pencil and all-surface graphite.
