Item Description

This is the first in my new line of floral-themed scarves. They are lightweight for warmer-weather wear; a little shorter, but still long enough to wear several different ways.  This scarf has been named, "Sister Violet". This scarf has grass green, cool purples,  leaf green, lavender, and even teensy hints of blue and yellow (think of the calming colors of violets). I have added my signature "Wild Thing" fringe at each end, too, for Mother's Nature's "giggle" as she lets spring rush in to envelope us.
This airy, lightweight skinny scarf measures 60" long, plus the 8" fringe at each end, for a total length of 72". The width is a comfortable 2 1/2". I have used several different yarns in the creation of this scarf, including one gorgeous one-of-a-kind handspun wool-containing yarn. So, if you have a sensitivity to animal fibers, this particular scarf may not be the one for you - but if you like it, I could create a similar one in synthetic fibers - just for YOU! (Of course, it won't be an exact replica (I don't do those), but close!
I recommend you hand wash this scarf in cold, wrap in a soft fluffy towel to absorb most of the moisture, and lay flat to dry.

Item Special Note

I believe that everyone should be able to accessorize and wear gorgeous items every day, and that those items should be affordable. I love bright colors, but also draw my inspiration from the beauty of nature. All of my handmade freeform crochet scarves are my original designs, no pattern used - therefore, most often, they won't/can't be duplicated. Each one is lovingly and carefully created - I consider them fiber art. Check out my website for more of my color-filled scarves, jewelry, and purse designs.
