Completed in 1913, The University Club of Saint Paul was modeled after the great city clubs of London at the turn-of-the-century, both in architecture and in purpose. Today it is a member of a prestigious association of similar clubs located throughout the United States and worldwide. Most University Clubs were chartered in the late 19th century and were patterned after the Oxford and Cambridge Club in London, established in 1821.

The University Club of Saint Paul, long known for its hospitality and charm, offers its members a wonderful environment to meet old friends and make new ones . . . Special events, private dining, Camp U Club for the children every summer, book clubs, investment club, and a variety of banquet and meeting facilities available for both members and guests at the Summit Avenue clubhouse and at the downtown clubhouse (formerly the Saint Paul Athletic Club), state-of-the-art fitness center, library, and more. Steeped in tradition and rich in history, the Club has been providing services to the Metro Area’s business, professional and social communities since 1912.
