About Lu

Lu is the author of acclaimed book “Let the Baby Drive: Navigating the Road of New Motherhood (2004), an award-winning journalist, former NBC anchor/host (“Real Life”; “Unsolved Mysteries”) and Discovery Health Channel host of “Make Room for Baby,” parent educator and national speaker. For five years, she hosted The Science Show, syndicated in 110 countries. She is currently finishing her third book.

She is best known for her leading-edge, integrative work in understanding and explaining the power, purpose and pathways for “repair,” and is most interested in how we repair relationship in the day-to-day, as she says “it is through our relational reparations that we are free to, capable of, and open to creating a healthy bond with our children and fostering emotional security and resilience in them.”
