Item Special Note

Reiki: A Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.  It is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Swedish Massage: The Swedish massage is one of the most common massage. This type of massage is intended mainly to reduce stress, relax the body, and ease muscle aches.

Deep Tissue Massage: Deep Tissue Massage is a massage technique that focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. When muscles are stressed, they block oxygen and nutrients, leading to inflammation that builds up toxins in the muscle tissue. A deep tissue massage helps loosen muscle tissues, release toxins from muscles and get blood and oxygen circulating properly. The purpose is to "unstick" the fibers of a muscle while releasing deeply held  patterns of tension, removing toxins, while relaxing and soothing the muscle.
