Shadow a 'day-in-the-life' of the Web Manager, who manages eight web sites and two intranets as well administers a dozen social media accounts.

Gain experience in on-line content and on-line social interaction. Internship may lead to greater opportunity. 

Seeking Candidate with an interest in pursuing a field of communication, marketing and/or social media.

LSS of New England is the third largest non-profit social service organization of New England.  Every day the 1,800 employees of LSS help and care for more than 5,000 clients in more than 60 social service programs throughout New England.   The non-profit manages charitable contributions of approximately $2 million annually to support for clients by dramatically increasing the quality of life for these individuals and the communities where they live.  For over 135 years, LSS programs benefit orphans, teens at-risk, parenting teenagers, elderly, immigrants fleeing persecution, adults with disabilities choosing to live on their own and families requiring disaster relief.

Requirements Bidding Candidate must meet the following requirements:

  • Canton High School Freshman (or older)  

Logistics:

  • Duration: 8 hours.
  • When:  1-day as mutually agreed in the Spring of 2011
