Item Description
These Batik-on-wood items are designed by Anni Crofut and hand-made by Javanese artisans using the traditional batik process of waxing on the design and submerging the wood in multiple hot dye-baths, and ultimately boiling off the wax. The beauty of this technique, while it is very labor intensive, is that the dye is absorbed into the pores of the wood, so the color will not chip or flake and the pieces can be washed in hot water. The batick-on-wood products are non-toxic and food safe. Utensil pot is 5 3/4" in diameter and 6 10/16" in height. Coasters are 3 1/2" in diameter.
Item Special Note
