Item Description
Edmund Stawick's images of architecture and landscapes, both rural and urban, and intimate flower portraits reflect a deep appreciation of art and nature. Skilled at capturing the form and emotions of the scenes before him, Ed's images are sought after for corporate, public and private collections throughout America and in Europ. The winning donor may choose one of the following five 12x18 matted prints with a 3 inch white matte for a total size of 18x24.
Monuments in Perspective: "This photo was made in Washington, DC from the side steps of the Jefferson Memorial facing the Washington Monument. One of my favorite images. I love how the converging lines of the steps in perspective lead your eye out towards the Washington Monument."
Mesa Arch: "This photo was made in Canyonlands National Park near Noab, Utah (and Arches National Park)." As the sun rises first thing in the morning it lights up an orange sandstone cliff below the arch, lighting the bottom of the arch with its glow."
Vermont Road, Fall: "This photo was made on a small country road outside of Woodstock, VT. There is nothing like the fall leaf colors in New England."
Tremont River, Spring: "The bright green of new spring leaves and the dogwoods in bloom. That's the reason that for many years I traveled to Great Smoky Mountain National Park every March. This photo was made on a small river outside the town of Townsend, TN."
Grand Tetons, Fall: "The Aspens are bright yello and orange and are a beautiful contrast to the blues and purples and the sky and Teton Mountains. With the Snake river reflecting it all, it is one of my favorite scenes."
