Canela is a charming chef owned & operated bistro, located just one hour south of Tucson within the Mountain Empire Region and Southeastern Arizona Wine Country. Open since September 2005, Canela Bistro has become a destination restaurant for locals and tourists alike. “It’s one of those small town gems that you just can't wait to share with a friend!”

Canela Bistro’s sun-drenched brick facade quickly gives way to the comfort and beauty found within. “The restaurant's ambiance just whispers of the Southwest...it has a comfortable, laid-back feel ” (-Arizona Daily Star) Native plants, richly colored textiles, pottery and artwork are tastefully displayed throughout the restaurant. In addition to the cozy main dining room and the lush garden patio, a private dining room may be available upon request.

Working with local ranchers, farmers and vintners allows these two chef owners to present menus that feature locally produced foods & wine and progress with the seasons. Canela Bistro’s Menus are also Food-Allergy, Vegetarian, Vegan and Kid Friendly! Whether you’re just treating yourself to a great meal or celebrating a special occasion, the owners and staff at Canela Bistro know exactly how to make your experience memorable!
