About the Artist
Pilar Montano first became interested in art as a teenager living in Mexico. She was particularly inspired by the works of Frida Kahlo and Vincent Van Gogh. She traveled all over Mexico to visit many of the museums to view art.
Pilar later moved to the United States. She began painting and it wasn't long before her works were so highly sought after that they were being sold before their completion. This was a source of inspiration that caused her to devote her full attention to painting and art.
Pilar and her husband later went on to create the HM Artist Foundation to help other aspiring artist discover the 'greatness within'.
