Item Description
Sharon painted her favorite subject, pears, using acrylics. The bottom of the vase was made by West African men weaving on the loom. She had bought this at an exhibit at the Garden City Arts Center. Her husband is currently fighting a cancer battle and Sharon feels that one day they may need Hospice services. Sharon decided this was one way that she could help contribute towards Hospice.
Item Special Note
As a member of the Sandhill Art Association, Sharon likes to go to workshops where she can keep on learning and improving her painting. Other than painting with water colors, keeping up with her grandchildren and reading the artist enjoys growing flowers. She lives on a busy farm which requires lots of her time on bookkeeping and other tasks.
