Rooms

Our Waterview, Waterfront and Garden View Suites are air-conditioned, single-story junior suites, with 700 square feet and classic Caribbean-style architecture and décor, all with private verandahs offering beautiful views through sliding-glass doors. Each has the look and feeling of a cozy Caribbean cottage, with white-washed trim and pale-green exteriors and fronted by a welcoming porch.

Resort Amenities

The Verandah Resort & Spa caters to all ages. Verandah lies adjacent to a National Park and its grounds incorporate marked nature trails, two soft white-sand beaches and tranquil waters on a protected covelike bay - just perfect for swimming or snorkeling in its crystal-clear waters. The resort's expansive, shimmering free-form pool is the island's largest, an excellent spot for lounging in the sun or enjoying a cooling dip.

The Verandah offers nonmotorized water sports, including windsurfing, Sunfish sailing, snorkeling, kayaking, and hobie-style catamaran sailing. On land, guests can partake in tennis and table tennis, or enjoy the spacious, well-equipped fitness center. Younger guests are sure to enjoy fun and games at the beautiful Kid's Club. Three palate-pleasing restaurants invite guests to savor familiar and new cuisines, while four bars and lounges keep visitors refreshed both day and night. The expansive Tranquility Spa offers a host of soothing treatments.

Guests can also enjoy a short walk to the nearby historic Devil's Bridge attraction for excellent photo opportunities. The uninhabited island sanctuaries of Green Island and Bird Island also are accessible by a short boat ride. Sightseeing, dining and shopping in historic St. John's are only 30 minutes from the resort by car, as is Antigua's international airport.

Resort Activities

Swim & Snorkel

While at the beach, why not take advantage of complimentary non-motorized water activities such as kayaking, windsurfing, hobby cat sailing and paddle boats. All of the equipment can be found at the Water Sports Centre and if you're new at any of the sports, instructors are ready to help you get on your way.

Dive

For those who want to really explore beneath the surface, diving is available at our sister resort, St James's Club which offers guests excursions to more than 20 dive sites.
