Item Description
Hunt at one of Patagonia's premier game ranches, Nehuen Mapu, which has been featured in Craig Boddington's book Big Game Argentina and soon to be featured in the revised book, El Ciervo Rojo Argentino by Juan Campomar, one of the world's outstanding experts on Red Deer.
One hunter may take 1 Bronze Medal Red Deer, 1 wild boar, 1 wild goat (total of 3 animals) for a 5 day (4 night) hunt. The hunter may upgrade to a higher trophy or other animals for the usual fees. He/she may also bring a companion, who will pay the daily rate for room & food, of $200.00. A companion may hunt by payment of the customary fees for any animals taken. Additional fees in each case must be paid in cash or travelers checks. High-speed internet will be available at the lodge.
The winning bidder will have the option of exercising his/her privileges for one of two hunting seasons, 2013 & 2014, which will run from March 1st to July 31.
If the hunter does not desire to bring his/her own rifle and ammunition, then a rifle can be rented for $50/day, including ammunition.
Item Special Note
One can fly a private plane directly to Santa Rosa and make arrangements for Customs and Immigration to clear arrivals by paying a small extra fee. This avoids the need to fly to Buenos Aires first. Accordingly, private aircraft on international flight plans are accommodated very nicely.
Included for the winning hunter are three meals daily of local excellent cuisine for one hunter, with soft drinks and beer, dinner with Argentine fine wines, one hunting guide per hunter, skinning, trophy preparation for delivery to freight forwarder to export, (taxidermist is selected by hunter and all costs for mounting are at hunter’s cost), ground transportation between Nehuen Mapu and Santa Rosa, La Pampa, Argentina Airport. The ranch is about 1 hour driving time from the airport.
Not included: gratuities, hunting license, rifle import fees, trophy exportation fees, international/domestic air travel to and from Santa Rosa.
High-speed internet will be available at the lodge.
A written review of the hunt experience would be greatly appreciated.
