Item Description

(1) $25 gift card.

Opened in 1921 at the start of Prohibition, the Biltmore started out as a speakeasy. This classic eatery has been a neighborhood favorite in the heart of Newton’s historic Upper Falls ever since.

Our House

In early 2008 our goal was to tastefully recreate this once popular tavern. The restoration brought out the classic pressed tin ceilings, polished mahogany paneling and hardwood flooring. Salvaged farmhouse tables along with cozy booths offer a comfortable setting to relax with friends or family over cocktails and a meal.

Kitchen

Sourcing produce & dairy from local farms and using the finest purveyors for seafood, meat and poultry shows our passion for the region and our commitment to great New England cuisine. Working with the likes of John Dewar’s butcher shop here in Newton and Pat Woodbury’s oyster farm on the Cape allows us to get the freshest product available. This is precisely the type of purveyor that allows us to offer our guests a wide variety of organic charcuterie, poultry and grass fed meats. We strive not only seasonally but also daily to present inventive menu selections to feature our unique mix of traditional pub cuisine with surprising hints of southern comfort.

Tavern

The Biltmore's tavern menu combines New England craft and Belgian breweries with original and vintage inspired libations. A masterpiece in “progress,” our beer menu showcases hard-to-acquire regional brews along with unique seasonal selections. Our craft cocktails boast housemade ingredients such as, grenadine and bitters giving our beverages a classic taste. The bar room is upbeat, inviting, and contagious - you’ll be a regular in no time!
