Item Description
This reproduction stand has been handcrafted by Assistant Head of School David Hickson from American cherry hardwood. It has a hand-rubbed oil finish. The stand replicates an early 19th century original from the New Lebanon, New York Shaker community. The original (see photo) is now part of the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
