Item Description

Local artist Jim Winters will create a 24x24 commissioned portrait drawing. The portrait will be water soluble crayon on water color paper and can be of your child or children, you or another loved one. To see his works, please go to www.jimwinters.com. Jim Winters attended Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, graduated summa cum laude in January 1988 with a BFA in sculpture. He moved to SF in the fall of 1992 and became involved in the seminal art gallery Kiki, where he had his first solo show. In addition to exhibiting at various artists run galleries: (ESP, Scene/Escena, Little Frankensteins, Showroom). He has been in group shows at larger venues: New Langton Arts and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. Winters was an artist in residence in Denison University in Ohio and taught a workshop on reduction screen printing.
