Cinemagic is delighted to offer a place on our Cinemagic International Los Angeles Film Camp which will take place from October 25th - 29th 2013 at Pepperdine University, Malibu. This camp is limited to 18 students only but the winning bidder will secure themselves a spot now! Over the course of the 5 day camp, young people aged 16- 20 from Los Angeles and Ireland will be mentored by industry professionals, they will develop filmmaking skills and techniques and make a short film which will be screened at Cinemagic festivals worldwide. This course provides unique opportunity to gain industry insight and experience in a fun, creative and educational environment and the project is also very culturally enriching for the young people from different backgrounds.

Cinemagic is an award-winning, inter-continental film festival that aims to educate, motivate and inspire young people through the medium of film and television. Cinemagic was founded in Belfast, Northern Ireland 25 years ago as a means of provided a safe and creative space for young people of conflicting backgrounds. Over the years the charity has expanded beyond all expectations and we now deliver annual festivals in Belfast, Dublin, Los Angeles and New York City engaging with 30,000 young people year. In 2012 Cinemagic was awarded the Britweek Innovation Award in recognition of it's International work and success. Patrons of Cinemagic include Pierce Brosnan, Liam Neeson, Julian Fellowes and Lisa Henson to name but a few.
