Item Description
Winning bidder receives 10 notes cards with scenes of the Cedar Fairmount neighborhood and a DVD of the history and unique characteristics of the area.
By the early 1900’s real estate developers turned Cedar Fairmount into the first planned neighborhood shopping area in the Heights.
Their design led to the completion of the Tudor style Heights Center Building in 1918 and the Demming House. Later the Heights Medical Building and others were added. One of the oldest buildings, the Alcazar Hotel, is on the National Registry of Historical Buildings, and the Heights Center Building received Cleveland Landmark status. In 2002, the Euclid Golf District was put on the National Registry of Historical Districts.
Today, Cedar Fairmount maintains the warmth of its rich heritage. Visit the area and enjoy fine architecture, contemporary shopping, antique and art galleries, bakeries, salons, award winning restaurants, LIVE JAZZ and much more. Experience it for yourself!
