Sam DiVine
Sam DiVine’s creative edge inspired her styling career at a young age. She dabbled in several art forms such as drawing, painting and sculpting alongside her normal school studies. At 14 years old, free scissor reign on a friend’s hair fueled her to work on anyone that was willing to sit in her chair. Whether she was cutting her mother’s hair or practicing on doll heads, DiVine was always developing her creative skill of styling hair.
DiVine was inspired by the work of Sally Hershberger from the very beginning. While reading an article on a visit to Boston University, she realized that styling hair was the career path of her destiny. She went on to graduate from Sassoon and went straight to Sally Hershberger Los Angeles to turn in her application, and was on top of the world when she got asked to come back that weekend and shadow. Fellow Sally stylist, Paul Perez, became Sam’s mentor and taught her the in’s and out’s of styling and manipulating hair.
Her career highlights continue to grow including her most recent work styling the bridesmaids hair on ABC’s Bachelorette Wedding, Nutrisystem commercials and advertisements, styling hair for Grammy and Emmy attendees and countless weddings.
