Join Walker Senior Curator and LCS parent Siri Engberg for a private tour of the special exhibition Hopper Drawing: A Painter's Process.
Over a career of nearly seven decades, Edward Hopper (1882-1967) created deeply moving images that are now among the most iconic in American art. On tour to Minneapolis from the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York, this exhibition is the first to focus on Hopper's creative process, and includes rarely-seen sketches and studies alongside over 20 of the artist's landmark paintings, offering a fresh look at the origins of his indelible images.
