Item Description
Large pillow with unique hand drawings by the students.
Artists: Andrew, Katya, Felix, and Stella
This project grew out of a Native American story the kids studied. The scope was expanded to include the art of various native peoples: totem poles for the Northwest, pottery and kachina dolls for the Southwest, baskets from California, and tipis from the Great Plains. The kids looked at photos of real examples and created their own art. Then they selected and arranged additional fabrics and a parent helped with the sewing.
Fabric markers on 100% cotton. Color-fast, machine-washable, removable covers.
In the spirit of the first Americans, this art object is meant to be used!
