Founded in 1947 by Al and Jean Langer, Langer’s Delicatessen-Restaurant earns respect and praise for its world-famous hot pastrami, judged by many to be the best anywhere.
Served on double-baked rye bread invented by Al Langer in the 1930s, Langer’s hot pastrami sandwiches are a favorite of Angelenos who flock to the historic location at 7th and Alvarado (across from MacArthur Park). Open 8AM-4PM Monday-Saturday, Langer’s Deli welcomes all who appreciate classic Jewish deli fare.
