Experience the Splendor of the era when Lowell, Masscahusetts was home to some of American 's first captains of industry at the John Nesmith House. Built in 1843 for John and Harriet Nesmith, 22-room Greek Revival/Regency mansion was a center for social and cultural affairs in the area for decades. Nesmith descendants continued to live in the house until 1939. Today, Nesmith House is owned by the Middlesex Community college Foundation. In 1994, the residence was restored to its former grandeur, when more than 30 interior and lanscape designers refurbished the building and it was opened as a Designer Showhouse. The house features period furnishings throughtout and has been updated with central heat, air conditioning and full prefesional kitchen. The Nesmith House will be an elegant setting for lunch. You and 7 guests will enjoy will enjoy a wonderfully catered lunch by Two Chefs are Better Than One. Two Chefs Catering is a full service company and offer an array for catering options. You and your guests will remember the joy the food brought you, but the warmth you receive from their caring staff will be what brings you back. Alcohol service is available for an added cost and the date must be prearranged with the Nesmith House.
