Item Description
This auction item is for a hand painted canvas by CURE Artist Natalie Paris, "Hope".
Natalie was diagnosed with Very High-Risk Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in September 2014 at the age of 14. Prior to her diagnosis she was rarely sick and had several years with perfect attendance. She quickly found herself thrust into a world of transfusions, infusions, surgeries and injections. Seven months into her treatment and her sense of humor, grace and optimism have never wavered. While she has not been able to attend classes for most of her freshman year, she has managed to maintain a 4.0 grade point average. She goes to each and every appointment with a smile on her face, is always polite and courteous and does not let Leukemia define who she is. She always gives her best and expects the best possible outcome.
