Item Description
One of the highlights of our trips to Guatemala has been spending Shabbat morning and lunch with the Reform-affiliated Adat Israel congregation. It is a very small community, comprised mostly of Jews by choice, who studied with and have gone through conversion with Rabbi Elyse Goldstein.
Purchasing Judaica products and Kosher food is extremely expensive in Guatemala and places a strain on the community for holiday observance. Prices for matzah are high here in the US, and they are outrageous in Guatemala.
Your $75 contribution will provide 7 boxes of matzah, to be shared by members of the community.
