Item Description
Gary Kyte
Serene, surreal, solitude, mysterious. Just a few words collectors mention about Gary Kyte’s work. Kyte received his art training at Hilbert College New York.
His paintings are best known for their periwinkle skies and old rustic houses set on a brilliant landscape. Like the old masters, Kyte works from a blackened canvas and from dark to light colors, giving his paintings full richness from deep shadows to sunlit highlights.
Gary Kyte lives and works in the northeastern part of the United States. His paintings are in the private collections of international notables and enthusiasts alike. His work is also part of the permanent collection of the Burchfield Penney Art Center, a museum dedicated to Western New York Arts.
