Item Description
Two professional guides will take up to six people out on a daylong guided tour of gorgeous Tomales Bay adjacent to California's Point Reyes National Seashore. Wildlife sightings might include tule elk and coyotes on shore, harbor seals and bat rays in the water, and soaring osprey and diving terns in the sky. The area was once Coast Miwok territory with villages along the shore and is fascinating geologically with the San Andreas fault line running right up the center of the bay. The inlet provides a healthy habitat for many species and a spectacular viewing point for the lovely surrounding hills of Marin County. Guide is trained kayak guide, wilderness first responder and son of Past President Kat Rowlands.
