Item Description
Far Niente 2014 Chardonnay, Napa Valley (Estate): The 2014 Far Niente Chardonnay opens with light tropical aromas alongside melon, juicy citrus and a layer of toasted oak and mineral. The silky entry introduces bright melon and citrus notes complementary to the nose, then progresses to a creamy, structured midpalate. The long, mouthwatering finish has bright acidity with lingering citrus, toasted nuts and wet stone flavors.
Nickel & Nickel 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon, Branding Iron Vineyard, Oakville: The elegantly balanced 2012 Branding Iron Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon offers aromas of blackberry and raspberry fruits mixed with toasty cedar from the oak. These lush, ripe flavors carry through on the palate with hints of green olive and dried herb. The juiciness from the fruit continues through to a lingering finish on soft, coating tannins. This is a wine that can be easily be enjoyed upon release, but will also age beautifully with time in the bottle.
En Route 2013 Pinot Noir, Les Pommiers, RRV: The 2013 EnRoute Pinot Noir, “Les Pommiers,” offers explosive aromatics of pomegranate and cherry with hints of perfume, tobacco leaf, mineral, baking spices and a lovely floral note. The entry is warm and coating, followed closely by rich, layered tannins. This is perhaps the densest wine that we have produced thus far, while still exhibiting the beautiful silkiness Pinot Noir lovers find so attractive. The finish is clean, bright and juicy, leaving palates refreshed and wanting more.
Dolce 2009 Late Harvest, Napa Valley: When it comes to late harvest wines in America, Dolce stands as the pinnacle: a honeyed wine, ripe with aromas of apricot and orange rind, capable of aging and evolving for years to come. Dolce starts in the vineyard, when just the right elements – nature, craftsmanship and a little luck – come together to produce a wine that is truly a triumph over adversity.
