ARTIST BIO AND INSPIRATION
Laurence Rosen founded Upper South Studio in 1979, as a hospitality design and production company. Rosen’s background is in urban design.
Following graduation, he exhibited his work at Andre Emmerich Gallery in New York City and owned Chiron Press. This press was one of earliest American art print houses, publishing blue chip limited editions: Tom Wesselmann, Claes Oldenburg, Robert Rauschenberg, Larry Rivers, and many others.
The work of Upper South Studio can be seen in many important global hotels, casinos, and cruise ships.
