Item Description
The 3-day preschool school students were inspired to explore Seattle and what makes this place we call home so special. Their exploration started with little lessons on Seattle: its start in the aviation field, how it became one the world’s biggest producer of apples, and the 1969 World’s Fair, which gave us the Space Needle, a world-known symbol of our beloved city. Our young Seattleites love our proximity to nature- saltwater, fresh water, rain forests and mountains- and our culture of outdoor living. And don’t forget our booming art and music scenes, sailing, coffee and our sports teams!
Using a laser cut template, each preschooler picked one symbol or aspect of Seattle that they love to make their own. They were free to color the graphic as the wished and the result is a colorful representation of their love for the Emerald City!
