Item Description
The tallit is made of multicolor variegated raw silk of muted red, blue and beige. It has a hand embroidered "atarah" (neckband) that says "Takhat Canfey HaShechinah" which means "under the wings of Shechinah". The corners, neckband and tallit bag with zipper closure are made of solid beige raw silk that picks up one of the colors in the tallit. The length is 72" and it is extra wide (approximately 54").
Shoshana Spiegel is a fiber artist from Herndon, Virginia. Currently she is creating art quilts in addition to more traditional quilting projects and occasional forays into Judaica.
