Item Description
My item for this auction is a handmade leather sheath (knife not included). I make these items start to finish in my spare time in my home shop. This sheath is made for a Case Trapper folding knife.
Sheath is dyed antique black, 5-7 ounce leather, oiled and finished. Sheath welt is black laced, sheath exterior is a basketweave tooled design. Sheath is a right-side carry for up to a 2" belt.
The knife you will need is a Case Trapper. These are available from sporting goods stores, you can also find some good buys at flea markets, knife shows, etc. If you purchase the knife new you can expect to pay from $35 to $60. Case Trappers do not normally include a sheath.
There are other knife companies that produce clones of the Case Trapper. I've included specifications of the Case Trapper, the choice to use another knife is the purchasers decision. Case Trapper overall length (closed)- 4 1/8", width- 1", thickness- 7/16" .
Dimensions for the sheath is 4 3/8" in length, including your knife is 5" in length, in this case "length" is top to bottom vertically as you would carry it on a belt.
