Soma Surf Resort, Popoyo Nicaragua
Six Nights in a Private Bungalow for Two
Value: $1,230
Soma (South of Managua) lies in the heart of the best surf breaks Nicaragua has to offer. This area is known for its consistent waves due to the prevailing offshore winds that blow approximately 300 days of the year. Due to these winds, conditions stay clean most of the day thus allowing you to surf all day.
Your stay will be in a private bungalow with a natural design and vaulted ceilings. The bed is made of local exotic wood, there are polished concrete floors and a small sitting area. You’ll have air conditioning, high quality linens and towels, a pillow top mattress and Wifi. The walk-in master shower has handmade local stone and there are double vessel twin sinks.
There are a variety of point and beach breaks for surfers of all skill levels, with more than 10 world class surf breaks, all within 5-20 minutes accessible by car or boat from Soma.
For those non surfing guests Soma offers the flexibility to enjoy an array of varied activities or experience a different part of Nicaragua. Or, take a surfing lesson – Soma is the first & best surf school in the area with a high level of hands on attention.
For your journey to Soma you will fly into Managua international Airport (MGA). It is now host to many international carriers including, American, Delta, United, Continental, Taca and more all with hubs in most major metropolitan American cities.
Airfare, beverages, food, activities, transport or flight are not included. Soma Surf Resort closes in September and October due to heavy rains. Holidays excluded. Valid through August 31, 2017.
