Item Description
Jackie Bishop is a visual artist whose mediums include acrylic, watercolor and kiln-fired glass. An educational background in design and a love of travel both play influential roles in her artwork. She first connected with VYCC in 2015 when working in the development department, which offered an exciting opportunity to utilize her skills while helping with the conservation of our parks and natural areas. Consequently these same subjects are what continue to inspire her artwork. The piece here is inspired by landscapes from the sand dunes of Dunes National Recreation Area in Oregon.
