What we locals know about living “up valley” is that there are some things that just cannot be beat: like, excellent cuisine, great spas, wonderful hotels and our own local gem, the Cameo Cinema. We’ve collected a few of our favorite things for this package, to make a great overnight getaway for a lucky bidder…but locals, how about treating yourself and another… to a little ‘staycation’?

Your vacation or staycation begins with two spa treatments at Health Spa Napa Valley, located on Main Street, just walking distance from all of St Helena’s shops and finest restaurants. You can enjoy your spa treatment and then relax poolside, or take the short walk into town for some retail therapy. Or perhaps you’d like to enjoy an exclusive, VIP tasting at Merryvale Vineyards, where some of the valley’s best wines await, just steps from your hotel base.

Catch the early show at the Cameo Cinema, our hometown St. Helena gem, the oldest single screen theatre in the US and definitely the most intimate and charming theatre in the world. She has been lovingly restored to her original splendor and upgraded to offer the most modern advances in digital projection, Dolby sound, and 3D capabilities.

After the show, a short stroll will take you to Archetype, St. Helena’s stylish neighborhood restaurant with outdoor seating. At Archetype, the cooking revolves around the oak-fired oven and grill using the best local and seasonal ingredients to be grown and foraged in Northern California. Be sure to bring your gift wine from Merryvale to accompany your meal!

Afterwards, it’s time to take another short stroll, back to the Southbridge Inn, Napa Valley, where you will find your spacious guest room with vaulted ceilings, king bed, fireplace, down comforter and a small Juliette balcony.
