Item Description
Brookman --- A Cabernet Calling
One 1.5 L 2011 Brookman Cabernet Sauvignon
Winemaker Gary Brookman began making Cabernet Sauvignon for his eponymous blue label in 2003, and has been the winemaker at Miner Family Winery since 1997 and Grace Family Vineyards since 2001.
Sourced from a selection of prime Napa vineyards on both hillsides and valley floor, with 45% fruit from the fabled Stagecoach Vineyard, the 2011 Brookman Cabernet Sauvignon balances power and beauty while preserving the purity of varietal character. Bold and expressive, this Cabernet introduces itself with classic aromas of dark berry, plum and floral notes. On the palate this wine provides a rich mouth feel and alluring layers of dark fruits with hints of mocha, pepper and spice. With well-integrated, ripe and refined tannins, it promises to drink handsomely for more than a decade, if you can wait that long.
Production is purposefully kept at approximately 300 cases per vintage and distribution is extremely limited. And here for you is a magnum (1.5L) of the brilliant 2011 vintage.
