Linked Vineyards, Santa Rosa
Private Lunch for Six Adults and Wine
Nestled in the hills of Knights Valley, Linked Vineyards overlooks both Napa and Sonoma counties – a truly unique vantage point from which to indulge in extremely small lot Cabernet Sauvignon wines.
Join vintners Jessica Link and Drew Johnson at their family estate, surrounded by acres of vines, for a delicious lunch. Stroll through the vineyards to gain first-hand knowledge of where it all begins, and toast to the one winemaking philosophy upon which all can agree – great wines start with great vineyards.
You’ll also indulge in award-winning wines and special treats pulled from Jessica and Drew’s personal cellar, for a once-in-a-lifetime wine tasting experience. Served in a spectacular setting with unforgettable views and impeccable wines, this is an event for anyone looking to be immersed in Wine Country living.
Right now, you’ll receive three bottles of Linked Vineyards 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon, Knights Valley, presented in a cedar box.
When Jessica and Drew met Luc Morlet, consulting winemaker at Peter Michael, they knew they had found a kindred spirit. His expertise crafting small production Bordeaux-style wines from mountain vineyards, coupled with his knowledge of Knight's Valley, made Luc a perfect match for Linked Vineyards.
Perfection is hard to realize, but 2012 might come close. The Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas of wild blackberries and currants that intermingle with dusky notes of fresh tobacco, allspice and cedar. A mélange of ripe blackberry, boysenberry and huckleberry flavors is interlaced with warm spice notes, bourbon, vanilla and a hint of cocoa. This wine waltzes between mouth-watering luxurious tannins and bright and intense fruit. This is a sultry wine that beckons you to sip…and savor…and come back for more. Only 122 cases produced.
Lunch to be arranged, at least 30 days in advance, for a mutually agreeable date, before April 2018.
