Mary Wojciechowski received her BFA degree from the University of Connecticut and taught visual arts for many years. She is a signature member of the Rhode Island Watercolor Society, a juried artist in the Cape Cod Art Association and is a member of the Attleboro Arts Museum, the Monotype Guild of New England and Collective Marks. Currently, Mary is represented by Gallery 31, Orleans, MA.
“Riding the Waves” is a one of many watercolors painted by Mary Wojciechowski using New England coastal waters as subjects. She feels fortunate to live within an hour of beach and marsh areas and paints en plein air as often as possible. Mary is captivated especially by the magnificent energy of waves surging up and over the rocky shores and the challenge of capturing this energy in her paintings.
