Item Description
Tasting Flight at Palmer Vineyards
Enjoy a red or white tasting flight for up to four guests!
Back in 1983 Robert Palmer, better known to his friends as Bob, had a vision. He purchased a rolling parcel of gravelly farmland on the North Fork of Long Island and cultivated his vineyard. Today, as one of the North Fork’s original wineries, Palmer Vineyards has established itself as one of the most visible and best-known Long Island estate wineries. Throughout the years, the vineyard and its wines have received numerous accolades. This praise reflects Bob Palmer’s pledge of quality and excellence. “I have to set the standards high” says Bob, “my name is on every bottle.”
The fine seaside climate and soils of Long Island’s North Fork provide exceptional conditions for the production of world-class varietal wines. Palmer Vineyards is an estate winery meaning, we grow, harvest, crush the fruit, ferment the juice and bottle the wines ourselves. Palmer strives to preserve and enhance the purity and distinctiveness of each grape variety, which make our wines unique. We also adhere to sustainable wine growing practices. Palmer Vineyards has over 90 planted acres that yield 20+ varietals and produces in excess of 10,000 cases a year. We invite you to visit and enjoy all our wines.
