Online MB-EAT Mindful Eating and Living Professional Training with Andrea Lieberstein, MPH, RDN, RYT. Learn to become an embodied mindful eating and meditation practitioner and instructor. This is the sixth dynamic year Andrea Lieberstein has offered the three-month online training and mentoring program which provides training in the practices and approaches of the Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness Training Program (MB-EAT), in mindfulness meditation, self-compassion and other mindfulness practices as they support the practice of mindful eating and living. MB-EAT was pioneered by Dr. Jean Kristeller, and supported by NIH-funded research. It addresses mindless and stress-related eating, emotional eating, disordered eating patterns and obesity so prevalent in our culture through the application of mindfulness meditation. This training provides a weight inclusive approach to mindful eating and living and includes principles and practices from the Well Nourished Approach.
Andrea Lieberstein, MPH, RDN, RYT, is bestselling author of the book, “Well Nourished" a mindfulness and mindful eating expert, speaker, internationally recognized teacher trainer, mindfulness-based dietitian nutritionist, mindfulness meditation teacher for 25 years and a champion for leading a Well Nourished Life. She leads mindful eating and Well Nourished trainings and retreats internationally, coaching and training professionals and the general public. In her private practice, Andrea works with individuals to have more peace, balance and joy in their relationship with food, nutrition, body-image, and stress-related issues and health concerns or whom simply want to bring their lives back into balance and vibrancy through mindful eating and living. She spearheaded mind body programs at Kaiser Permanente Northern California centers for many years and has degrees from Stanford University and the University of California at Berkeley. She is founder of the Mindful Eating Training Institute and developed the first international online mindful eating professional training program. Andrea has practiced mindfulness meditation and yoga since the mid-1980's, and is inspired daily by a regular yoga and meditation practice and the healing power of nature.
